Dieser S\u00fc\u00dfwassersee liegt nicht ganz 900 Meter \u00fcber dem Meeresspiegel, hat eine Ausdehnung von ca. 22 x 10 Kilometer und ist sehr flach. Aus diesem Grund kann alles auf dem See auch nur mit sehr flachen Booten ohne Tiefgang transportiert werden.\u00a0Den meisten ist dieser See wohl durch seine <strong>Ein-Bein-Ruderern<\/strong> bekannt. Diese rudern ihr Boot mit nur einem Bein, damit sie ihre H\u00e4nde zum fischen frei haben. F\u00fcr uns war es wieder ein tolles Erlebnis mit den schmalen Booten \u00fcber den See zu schippern. Zuerst ging es ca. eine dreiviertel Stunde zu unserem Hotel mitten im See. Wow, so etwas hatten wir auch nocht nicht erlebt, die n\u00e4chsten zwei N\u00e4chte w\u00fcrden wir auf Stelzen direkt \u00fcber dem Wasser verbringen \ud83d\ude42 Nach einer kurzen Erholungspause machten wir uns dann auf den Weg zur <b>Phaung Daw U Pagode.<\/b> Diese Pagode beherbergt f\u00fcnf Buddhafiguren, die einmal im Jahr in einer k\u00f6niglichen Barke von Dorf zu Dorf gefahren werden. So wirklich zu erkennen sind diese Buddhafiguren nicht mehr, f\u00fcr die Buddhisten sind sie aber sehr heilig.
